Our inspiration: Rebuilding families, not just supervising
The heart behind Nehemiah Family Restoration and Parent Education of Southern Jersey was born from a desire to see families restored rather than simply supervised. Too often, families involved in child welfare or court systems experience services that focus on monitoring visits instead of equipping parents with knowledge, encouragement, and practical skills they need to rebuild healthy relationships with their children.
The inspiration for Nehemiah comes from the biblical account of Nehemiah, who was called to rebuild what had been broken. We believe every family deserves the opportunity to rebuild.
Our core beliefs: Dignity, restoration, and growth
Our goal is to solve several challenges families commonly face. Parents often receive little meaningful coaching during supervised visitation, leaving them unsure of how to strengthen their parenting skills. Parents need consistent, positive interactions that help rebuild trust and healthy attachment.
Courts, attorneys, and child welfare professionals need objective, detailed documentation that accurately reflects family interactions and parental progress. Families deserve services that treat them with dignity, recognizing that mistakes do not define their future and that change is possible with the right support.

At Nehemiah Family Restoration & Parent Education of South Jersey, our team is made up of compassionate, highly trained professionals who believe that families can grow, heal, and succeed when they are supported with education, accountability, and encouragement.
Our staff members bring diverse professional backgrounds including child development and early childhood education, crisis intervention and de-escalation, case management, court and documentation procedures, and educators with bachelor's and master's degrees. Each team member shares the same commitment to treating every family with dignity, respect, and impartiality. What makes us different is our professionals are selected not only for their experiences but for the qualities they bring to every family they serve.
